Florian Rivière: Don’t pay, play.
Urban hacker Florian Rivière‘s “don’t pay, play” project transformed an underused car park in Strasbourg, France, into an area for sports. By simply using tape and shopping trollies he adds a new use to the parking spaces and thus appropriates it for a new group of users. As such, “Don’t pay, play” fits neatly in Rivière’s oeuvre of playful public art projects that stimulate us to rethink the often mono-functional nature of public spaces.
