JOIN US FOR A DAY OF DESIGN & MAKING!
We’ve asked you what you liked and what you were missing in your neighbourhood. Many of you have answered questionnaires and shared your opinions, and we are looking forward to more. Addressing the issues raised is going to be a process of many stages and new challenges, and Clear Village, at Workshop 44, will keep listening to everyone who wants to share their insights. But now, let us focus on actions!
You are invited on 27 October to bring about small but valuable changes in your public space. Together, we will design and make a new square in the pedestrianised area in front of the Workshop 44.
We will bring wood, tools, paint and skilled workers, who will help and advise the whole day. We will also try to source recycled furniture that we can repurpose, take apart, put together, paint and make look fantastic. If you have ideas, skills and/or materials that you would like to contribute with in advance, please come down!
There will be £500 awards released to those of you looking to start your own social business with local impact. Come and pick up a form or submit your idea!

11am Start & intro: Designing, sharing ideas, possibilities and aligning with builders.
1pm Lunch prepared by the lovely Rosie
2-5pm Building, painting, drawing,..
5pm Tea
Whether you are the type for swinging the hammer or prefer the lighter touch with a decorating brush, whether you are practical or more an ideas person – you are very welcome here! Everyone participating is very much a part of everything. Clear Village will help pull it together.
Please let us know if you can come, so we roughly know how many to prepare lunch for. It would be great if you could be there all day, if not, join as long as you can.
