Last week we hosted a day long workshop on Open Source Circular Economy led by Erica Purvis – people from a wide range of disciplines came together to develop practical ways of integrating the circular economy model into community spaces. Very useful for us as a makerspace which is on its way to being the most sustainable it can be!
Tips, tools, and templates were developed for makerspaces, fablabs, libraries, coworking spaces…
Open Energy Monitor shared one of their monitors, made entirely of open-source hardware and software, which tracks energy usage in a plug-and-play format.
In other news – little steps towards sustainability taken by installing Radflex – a heat-projecting material that directs radiator heat into the room, not out the windows!
